The Verkhovna Rada passed a Resolution to forward the Bill on Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (re Restriction of Deputies' Immunity) (Reg. No. 1375) for the Report of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine regarding Adherence to the Regulations of Articles 157 and 158 of the Constitution of Ukraine

The Bill (Reg. No.1375) amends the Constitution of Ukraine by introducing the following version of Article 80: "The People´s Deputies of Ukraine do not assume legal liability for the results of voting or expressions in the parliament or its bodies, except for offence or slander".
